Tijn Kool is deputy head of the department of IQ development&support and a senior researcher at IQ healthcare. Together with Mariëlle Ouwens Tijn is responsible for research in relation to policy. Moreover, Tijn is involved in a number of scientific paths as well as three PhD projects.
The main approach in his work is the application of scientific knowledge in daily practice. With this he aims to bridge the gap between scientists and policy makers, thereby improving the pace of implementing innovations. This approach is very well suited to the objective of the section IQ development&support, which was founded in 2008. This section primarily focuses on delivering tailor-made research.
